A sign of spring...
A mourning dove nests in the window of the new bathroom construction giving (another) reason to halt work for now. The mother leaves the nest exposing the egg when I get too close. Snapping the picture, I backed off quickly and she promptly returned.
That is so cool. So will you let her stay? Are you going to leave food for them?
ReplyDeleteThere were two eggs the next day. We are watching the progress. There are bird feeders in the yard, but the darn squirrels are notorious for raiding them and eating everything, as well as destroying the feeders.
